To permit motorsport activities on track WASCC need the venue hirer to have an organising permit for the activity issued by either Motorsport Australia, AASA or Racers. The reason for this is:
It covers the organiser and by extension WASCC, with Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It gives WASCC and the people insuring us peace of mind that motorsport activities will be conducted in accordance with a high level of safety standards.
To get an organising permit from one of these organisations does require “affiliating” with them. It is an extra cost.
Alternatively, perhaps team up with a club that already uses the facility and meets the requirements.
